Where do the bristles come from?
These natural bristle toothbrushes are made using ethically sourced animal hair, and no animals are harmed in the making of these products.
Horse Hair Bristles:
Collected through regular grooming. No harm comes to the animals during this process.
Boar Bristles:
Sourced as a by-product of the meat industry. The hair used for these brushes would otherwise go to waste.
What’s the difference between Boar & Horse Bristles?
- Boar Bristles: Medium–firm, offering a more robust brushing feel.
- Horse Hair Bristles: Medium–soft, gentler on gums and sensitive mouths.
Both bristle types naturally soften with use. This process can be sped up by running warm water over the bristles before brushing.
